2008-08-26 Dream of "Rod" and "Ron." Was it Rod Blagojevich?

Back on 2008-08-26 I had a very strong dream. A number of them actually. I typed up part of one of them and published it 2008-09-01.

I remember much of it very well. In some dreams I "hear" names very clearly. The fragment of the dream I wrote about was such a dream. Not only did I hear at least one name very clearly, I woke up very angry at how I had been treated.

I clearly remember hearing "Rod" in my dream, and I think the other name was "Ron."

Now I'll be the first to tell you that my dreams are often metaphorical, not literal. But at times they are literal. At times they happen later that day, at times they happen months, or years, later. Some dreams, fortunately haven't happened at all (or yet).

But on 2008-12-09, when I read about Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, I seriously considered that I was shown his doings. Why did I dream that it was being done to me? Good question. Perhaps because like some of us, I have poured my blood, sweat, tears, time, and money in to trying to make the world a better place, and specifically the USA. So, perhaps in my dreams, I take sins against the USA as though they were sins against me.

Again, I will be with those who go along with the notion of "innocent until proven guilty," but enough of my dreams have come true that I hope every speck of truth and evidence comes to light.

I have not shared all of the dreams I had that night, or all of the details of the dream with Rod and Ron, but I just might be inspired to type up more of what I dream, from night to night. I've avoided publishing my dreams, since it could be easy for some folks to jump to wrong conclusions, and I kind of want this web site to stay focused on philosophical musings, with some humor, and very brief analysis of the news.

I have also considered the possibility of only making my dreams available to registered users, then I have a tiny bit of control over who sees them, but...
