Bruce Barton

“When you’re through changing, you’re through.”

Who is/was Bruce Barton?* A fundraiser for Barack Obama? A left-wing nut bent on turning the U.S. into another form of government? An anti-democracy or anti-federalist nut-case closely watched by the CIA, FBI, and Homeland Security? The anti-Christ? Someone who hated Jesus?

Recently I've heard more than a few self-professed Christians attack President Obama over the notion of "change." They say that things are changing too fast. I have to ask, "what's changed?" Frankly I can't really say one thing President Obama has changed. Or at least any significant change.

He's flip-flopped and still towing the damned evil drug war line. He seems to have picked up baton of war mongering on the other side of the world and not done much about the death and destruction we're directly or tacitly fomenting in Mexico or Colombia due to our self-righteous chest thumping about drugs and malevolence against our Founding Documents that say government shall not force religion on its citizens, while ignoring the prophecies of Paul about the latter times when the hypocrites and deceived minion will deny us access to plants God created for us and to be used by us.

Like most of his predecessors, he still seems bent on the notion that big business and growth are our only salvation, vs. seeing the advantages of ideas like I put forth in my VAWT essay using a distributed model for helping society NOW, and us little people, vs. relying on year 2040 solutions. Change? Ha!

But still these "Conservative Christians" rail against "change" and use all sorts of shallow guilt-by-association reasoning. I have to admit I say all of this with trepidation since I think it's best to fear God and not beat the servants. [Luke 12:42-48] But I've come to the conclusoin that many of these people are not servants of God. In fact some of them fit the description Jesus used when he blasted the Holier-Than-Thou Congregation and Hyper-Conservative-Congregatoion of his day by saying they traveled over land and sea to win converts, and those converts were twice as much children of hell than they were! [Matthew 23:15]

* In any case, I use the quote at the top to show how I laugh at them. Bruce Barton, born in Tennessee, descendednat of Reverend John Davenport, the founder of Yale University, credited with naming Genearl Motors and General Electric, wrote a book using Jesus Christ as a character, who "believed incurably in material progress, in self-improvement, in individualism, and in the Judeo-Christian ethic," said

"When you're through changing, you're through."

I have to laugh! I have to cry. Thus is fulfilled Jesus prophecies that we will be killed by people thinking they are doing a service to God. [John 16:2-3] Yes, because they've trained their converts to be twice as much children of hell as they are. And yes, I realize this doesn't just include so-called Christians, but so-called Muslims, and perhaps other religions too.

REPENT! Any by the way repent means CHANGE!!!!!!
