Dear Fellow Christians,

Please DO NOT EVER chant, "Death to ________." (Anything.)

We are to pray for our enemies and people who persecute us. That means to pray they repent, pray good things for them, etc…

Just like Haman lead around Mordecai in the book of Esther, this is the outcome we will see.

The mean-spirited and hypocrites will be your servants. They used your name and things you liked as curse words; Old Testament prophecy claims things will be the opposite, once justice is realized on earth (not by human hands), you will have an even better name! The things they hated will be shown to be superior.

In the mean time, turn the other cheek, do not stoop to their level of slander. Ignore them. If you must "battle" them, then use facts, and avoid being like them: trying to murder goodness with lies, slander, and guilt-by-association reasoning.

People! Please! What did Jesus say?

Don't forget how he challenged people's understanding and the direct "teaching" of the Old Testament Law! Yes Jesus was often accused of breaking the law!

Recall how he said:

You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' [Leviticus 19:18]

But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?

Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

How are you all ever going to help children grow and mature if you act like this?!

CNN has another update on this issue. Apparently more than a few people think it's OK. Groan.

People, please realize that what you wish for others will also come to you. Not only are similar sayings in the Bible, I am certain that notion is in a plethora of songs, songs you probably listen to and like, from artists you respect. If you don't believe it from Jesus, then please believe it from them.
