The United States Constitution
Section 9
No bill of attainder, or ex post facto law, shall be passed.
Let us focus on the second part of this quotation from the US Constitution, specifically "ex post facto". What does "ex post facto" mean? It means "after the fact" or "with retroactive effect".
Ok, how does this translate in to what the Constitution says?
To be continued...

"Oh, and by the way, we also ignore the Bible. Like in Matthew chapter 23:
Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:
'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you.
'But do not do what they do, they do not practice what they preach. They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
'Everything they do is done for men to see: They wear the finest clothes; they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the rooms they sit; they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them by grand titles.
'Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.' "
Jesus was really angry and it includes more than just religious leaders, but ALL leaders, people in power with mucho resources at their disposal. I think the best advice to follow is some other advice he gives too. Repent, bear the fruits of repentance, pray for these people, and ourselves too, of course. Maybe there's still time for them to repent, judgement day hasn't come yet. But they sure seem to be hastening it.
Jesus did say he would come back sooner than expected, "if those days weren't cut short, no one would survive." Hmm... some recent news... Iran tests missiles saying they always have their fingers on the button, Japan builds an army after many years of not having one, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India seem to be upset with each other, some of them more than others, but some of them also have nuclear weapons. But what about the news of North Korea? Hm, don't we pay them money or something? Sounds like extortion to me. Maybe this is what Iran is up to? I don't know, but I sure know The Temptations' summed it up well 38 years ago in 1970 with "Ball of Confusion (That's What the World Is Today)". Their lyrics have not gone out of date (except the line about pills, sales of pills are now over the counter, instead of street dealers, so they're counted as legal, and thus also earn huge tax revenue. The line about hippies seems out of date, and the Beatles can't really put out a new album, but that's it, the song is nearly "spot on" with today, except perhaps the problems are now 10 times worse).
Too bad our corner of the world, the USA, is being destroyed from the inside by Babylonian invaders (in high places). [See the MANY references to Babylon, when used metaphorically, in the Bible.]
