Watching the Sun Rise in India
Right before I woke up I had a very clear dream, at least the beginning of it was clear.
I knew I was in India. I looked to my right and could see a very long, and tall, mountain range. There were many crags and grooves in it. I looked to my left and the land was much lower, covered with a light mist, but I could see what looked like a mountain turned in to a castle-complex, off in the distance.
As I kept turning my view back and forth between the two scenes, I noticed it was getting lighter and the shadows on the mountains were becoming more distinct. The sun was rising and I was watching the country side become brighter. (Reflecting on the dream and the position of the sunrise, it must have risen from behind my view, thus I was looking west and the long mountain range was to the north of my position and the lower areas where people lived, was to the south of my perspective.)
I noticed I was on a tall platform, that was how I could see so far in the distance. Apparently I had some of my photography gear because I realized I didn’t have two lenses I normally carry.
Right about the time I realized I didn’t have my telephoto lens with me, two guys, I think I knew them, came up to the platform and told me to follow them. I heard their names, but forgot them fairly quickly after I awoke.
I followed them to town, with three bags of gear in my hands. But since they walked so fast I could not keep up with them. Before long I had lost sight of them in the crowd. Right about that time I came to a place where I could go straight ahead on the road I was on, or take a right and go down a curving road, or go left into a tent area where there were many merchants.
I opted to go straight ahead.
The dream goes on for quite a bit longer, but the main part that was so neat was watching the sunrise!
