In the Worship God and Bible Study area of NewOldSalt.com I have written often about being careful about Bible worship. So this essay will be about the more general form called Scripture Worship.
What is Scripture Worship? It is when people idolize their scriptures. Idolizing their scriptures is usually the first step to idolizing one's own interpretation of those scriptures, the next step is (too often) to force others to submit to those scriptures, but more so to the specific interpretation of those scriptures.

Hm. I wonder. Think it has anything to do with another major religion that claims to submit to God? But which seems to promote the opposite? The crushing, oppression, and outright murder of people who disagree with them?

I would appreciate some suggestions on where to move to.
I am exceedingly discouraged by the town I live, the state I live, and even the country I live in.
I will kick the dust off my shoes as I leave each one.
I am a hard worker, love to laugh, love to play guitar and sing, love nature and "the outdoors," I've been recyling since the 1970's, I've been gardening since the 1980's, I've been a computer user since 1979, more info upon request.

It is accurate and the Absolute Truth to say “there are such things as ‘absolute truths.’”
Absolute Truths are statements, facts, information, etc… that are true, whether or not humans know about them or agree with them.
Even though the ancient Roman Catholic Church held the official opinion the sun orbited the earth, they were wrong. Their mistaken beliefs about the solar system did not alter the reality about our solar system!
Proving yet again that spreading love, light, happiness, great fragrances and evidence of hand-care, is better than heavy-handed cracking down, it seems some intelligent humble Japanese decided to test a theory.

Here is a quick page which holds links to some photos of junk mail sent by a tax preparation service.
I am totally disgusted with the complexity of the US tax system. I could cry that my dad spends MONTHS each year doing his taxes and still makes mistakes. This is a waste of his life! Those who have done this to him will pay, on or before Judgement Day!*
Those who have done this to all of us will pay. There are some of us who have gone out of our way to straighten the crooked, simplify the complex, make things clear, and shine light on dimly lit areas. But there are others who have hidden what should be available, turned simple statements in to multi-paragraph or multi-page madness, and have literally given their lives to the devil through needless complexity.

The word "invests" is grossly overused, even abused, these days. People use it as a "con job" to get you to think what they are promoting is actually going to become more valuable over time. "Invest in a new car" is the one that makes me laugh the hardest since, from every knowledgeable person I've heard, they say the second you drive the car off the lot, the car's value dramatically decreases.

This series of short essays is a combination of news items I find, as well as general thoughts I have, against people and companies who install machines over us humans.
The main reason I think this happens is due to greed. Instead of using humans to answer, or make telephone calls, they use machines. It's much easier, more "cost effective," for companies to install a mechanical mosquito, than face us with our fellow citizens.

Today I updated the introduction to a collection of writings I titled, "Worship God."
I provided a bit more clarity for those who are interested in immediate answers, and at the risk of making it sound like it was an X-Step Program, I put numbers in front of the main ideas. Just trying to make it easier to read, as well as pointing out how simple it is! :-)
